The French manufacturer Wichard has been known for years for its on-board knives with forged stainless steel blades. The Offshore series now presented is accompanied by a whole series of improvements. The most striking change concerns the handle scales. Instead of the angular plastic housing, an ergonomic shape is now used, making the knives easier to hold. Visibility in the dark has also been improved. The green-yellow version is now designed to glow for up to two hours. Previously, the fluorescent effect only lasted for 15 minutes.

The blade, half of which has a serrated edge, can be opened with one hand and locks automatically. Depending on the version, a marlin spike with integrated shackle and bottle opener is also available. In contrast to the previous model, the tool can also be locked in place. Price: 40 euros; without marlinspike and shackle opener 32 euros.
